Join University Home Care Inc as a Home and Hospice Certified Nurse Assistant, providing compassionate and dedicated care to patients in the Livonia, MI area. Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care to patients in their homes, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and report changes in patients’ health conditions to nursing staff and supervisors timely.
- Assist with hospice care tasks respecting patients’ comfort and dignity in end-of-life situations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Follow all infection control and safety procedures in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Nurse Assistant (CNA) with experience in home health or hospice care preferred.
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in Livonia, MI.
- Compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations for home and hospice care.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
