Position Title: Holmen High School Administrative Assistant
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required.
- Preference given to candidates with two years of higher education; associate degree; or 3+ years of experience resulting in equivalent knowledge.
- CPR certification required within 6 months of employment.
- Competency in accounting procedures, including but not limited to: budgeting, expense reports, etc. preferred, but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks simultaneously in an organized and timely manner.
- Strong computer, telephone and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to ensure and preserve confidential information pertaining to this position.
- Ability to maintain professionalism under stressful situations.
- Demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Job Description:
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Process correspondence, reports and documents for the Building Principal(s).
- Maintain a regular filing system, as well as a set of locked confidential files.
- Perform accounts payable tasks within software system.
- Operates and maintains office machines including, but not limited to; computer with appropriate software applications, copier, calculator, scanner and other machines required.
- Respond professionally and appropriately to a task and/or directive.
- Knowledge of and ability to effectively use school attendance software, school purchase order software and the appropriate technology.
- Handles other duties as assigned or required.

Terms of Employment: This is a 12-month position for 8.0 hours per day. Some flexibility in start and end times. Salary, benefits and Employment Terms per the Employee Handbook.
