Job Summary (List Format):

- Supervise the design, development, and maintenance of Epic applications within assigned area (e.g., Beacon, Willow, Optime).
- Collaborate with end users to design and optimize Epic workflows, recommending enhancements or corrective adjustments.
- Determine staffing needs, conduct capacity planning, and oversee direct reports to ensure effective and efficient team performance.
- Serve as a mentor, resource, and primary advisor to team members.
- Lead all phases of small to medium application projects, including Epic software upgrades and major workflow enhancements.
- Provide subject matter expertise on Epic modules, including configuration, build, and testing.
- Facilitate sessions with end users to design, validate, and document Epic system configuration and enhancements.
- Provide technical and/or clinical consultation regarding application configuration and optimization.
- Analyze system needs and develop recommendations for workflow improvements.
- Maintain required system design/build documents and related system documentation.
- Monitor daily application functionality and production performance.
- Provide support for application incidents, including participating in 24/7 on-call rotations as required.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Epic software functionality and related operational workflows.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, reporting, and technical issues related to Epic.
- Collaborate with trainers to develop and maintain Epic-specific training materials and curriculum.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications; prioritize, coordinate, and implement system updates and changes.
- Test new releases, troubleshoot issues, and provide user support.
- Adhere to organizational standards for system configuration and change management.
- Foster strong relationships with end users, customers, and business partners.
- Facilitate communication with stakeholders throughout project life cycles.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
- Maintain active Epic certification(s) and leverage clinical or IT experience to support assigned modules and workflows.
- Demonstrate leadership, team management, and cross-team communication skills.
- Utilize tools such as Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- (Preferred) Experience in device integration and at least 2 years in resource management or team lead roles.
