Our client, a pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Histotechnician for an onsite role in Ridgefield, Connecticut. This contract position lasts approximately 9 months with potential extension, paying $48.57/hr on W2.

  • Responsibilities include tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, slide preparation, and developing routine (H&E, special stains) and advanced (IHC, ISH, multiplex IF) assays.
  • Manage daily workflows, sample tracking, inventory, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and systems.
  • Ensure data integrity through QC, detailed documentation, and clear communication with research teams.

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a biological science with hands-on experience in histology techniques.
  • Experience developing complex assays like IHC, ISH, or multiplex platforms, emphasizing quality control.
  • Ability to manage lab operations in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and effective communication.
