About the Role:
Snowflake is seeking an experienced Workday Payroll Consultant to support a U.S. Payroll implementation project. This is a hands-on contract role focused on Workday Payroll configuration, integrations, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support. The consultant will collaborate closely with Payroll, HRIS, and implementation teams to ensure a successful deployment and smooth production support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and support Workday Payroll components including earnings, deductions, garnishments, tax setup, costing allocations, pay slips, and security.
- Partner with Payroll Operations and implementation teams to gather and validate business requirements.
- Support Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, and APIs.
- Perform data validation, payroll parallel testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT.
- Troubleshoot payroll configuration and integration issues throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain Workday reports and calculated fields.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Document configurations, business processes, testing results, and support procedures.
- Provide knowledge transfer and post-go-live stabilization support.
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Payroll implementations.
- Strong expertise in U.S. Payroll, including federal, state, and local compliance.
- Experience configuring Workday Payroll.
- Hands-on experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, APIs).
- Experience with payroll testing, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Workday Reporting and Calculated Fields.
Experience integrating Payroll with Time Tracking, Benefits, Finance, and third-party payroll vendors.
Experience participating in end-to-end Workday Payroll implementations.
Knowledge of SOX controls and payroll audit requirements.
