Featured Role: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Under the direction of a Nurse Manager (or Executive DON, Ambulatory), the Nurse provides professional, skilled, and age-specific nursing care in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. You'll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care \u2014 ensuring safety, advocacy, and high-quality outcomes in every interaction.
You'll also serve as a leader and educator, supervising ancillary personnel, supporting team collaboration, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient experiences across our behavioral health network.
Hourly Pay Range: $34.15 \u2013 $50.37
Night Shift Differential: +18%
Weekend Differential: +8%
Qualifications
Education:
Experience:
Completion of the Valleywise Health New Graduate RN training program, or prior acute care nursing experience
Previous acute care hospital experience in the specialty area preferred
Certification/Licensure:
Current, valid AZ RN license, temporary AZ RN license, or compact state RN license
Must be in good standing with the Board of Nursing
ACLS and PALS required upon hire
Must obtain NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within 6 months and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) within 12 months of hire
CEN and CPEN certifications preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations
Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills
Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer skills
Must read, write, and speak effectively in English
