Diesel Technician – Melloy Chevrolet (Los Lunas, NM)

Melloy Auto Group is a family-owned dealership serving New Mexico for over 60 years. We’re looking for an experienced diesel technician who can diagnose, repair, and produce in a high-volume shop.

If you’ve got Duramax or heavy-line experience and you’re tired of fighting for work or dealing with a broken process, this is an opportunity to step into a shop that’s busy and built to support you.

You’ll be working on Chevrolet diesel trucks with the tools, equipment, and workflow to stay productive.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines (Duramax and heavy-line work)
• Perform maintenance, inspections, and warranty repairs
• Use factory diagnostic tools and service information
• Follow proper repair procedures and documentation
• Communicate clearly with advisors and team members
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace

What We’re Looking For

• Diesel or automotive technician experience (diesel strongly preferred)
• Strong diagnostic ability (not just parts swapping)
• ASE certifications are a plus or willingness to earn them
• Own tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Consistent work ethic and ability to produce
