 As a Caregiver at Executive Homecare of Fairfax, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential personal care, assistance and companionship to our clients in the comfort of their homes. 

This position is specifically for a patient has initial stages of Dementia and is looking for compassionate caregivers with dementia experience with availability Friday/Sat and Sunday

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):
    • Provide support with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
    • Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
  • Medication Reminders:
    • Provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules.
    • Support clients in managing their medication routines.
  • Meal Preparation and Nutrition:  
    • Assist with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary requirements.
    • Monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
  • Companionship and Social Interaction: 
    • Engage clients in meaningful conversations and companionship.
    • Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
  • Health Monitoring: 
    • Observe and report changes in clients' health status to the care team.
    • Document care provided and any notable observations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Preferred Certificate in CNA/HHA/PCA
  • Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred 
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred.
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team.
  • MUST HAVE CAR! 
  • Must speak Vietnamese
  • Must have experience with Dementia
