Serves as primary source of support for the Health System with 8 Acute Care Hospitals, All Baptist Outpatient Services (over 50 locations) and all Ambulatory Surgical Centers as well as supporting staff providing onboarding and ongoing education A strong candidate for the Continuous Educator role needs to: Be able to learn and retain a wide breadth of Epic and workflow‐specific information Have a good rapport with and respect from peers in administrative, management, and patient care environments Have the ability to communicate the importance of training and engagement to end users Be motivated by continuous improvement Have the ability to use PC‐based word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
Qualifications
Bachelor''s Degree in Health information Management with Certified Record Health Information Technician (RHIT) and/or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Health Services Administration, or equivalent experience in acute care setting for a large healthcare organization. Prefers EPIC Experience/Certification, Knowledge of statistics, data collection and presentation. Excellent communication skills and comprehension of oral and written instructions and attention to fine details. Ability to travel between hospitals to perform job duties. 3+ years of experience and expertise in providing training in a variety of settings using different technology and approaches for multiple positions and roles. Previous development of training programs and professional development programs, preferred. 3-5+ years of working within Epic software. Salary ranges from $63,918.68 - $81,176.72 depending on years of experience.
