This role is for a Highway Resident Engineer overseeing infrastructure projects valued between $1-$50 million, based in Portland, Augusta, Eliot, ME, or Merrimack, NH.
The Engineer will manage construction activities, supervise staff, and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project owners.
Responsibilities include reviewing plans, technical submittals, schedules, and change orders; conducting inspections; preparing reports, punch lists, and final closeouts; and ensuring safety and compliance.
Qualifications require 11+ years of experience, including 4+ years of supervision, a high school diploma, and valid driver’s license. Preferred qualifications include a construction management or engineering degree, relevant certifications, supervisory skills, and experience with construction management software.
