Higher Level Teaching Assistant and Wrap Around Care Playleader Salary: £11,707.95- £12,485.51 pro rata for HLTA and £3,277.55 pro rata for Wrap around worker

Hours: HLTA- 19.5 hours per week, 8.30am-3.30pm.  Playworker- 5.25 hours per week 3:30-5:15pm

Nun Monkton Foundation Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our friendly and supportive team 3 days a week (Monday- Wednesday). This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a thriving village school, supporting teaching and learning within our mixed-age class of Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils. In addition to the HLTA role, we are looking for the successful candidate to run our wrap around care 3 evenings a week from 3:30-5:15pm, Monday- Wednesday.

  •        Skilled at building positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and the wider community.
  •        Flexible, proactive and eager to contribute to all aspects of school life.

 

 

Experience of working with mixed-age classes would be advantageous, although not essential. Experience of Forest School provision or outdoor learning would also be welcomed.

Essential Qualifications

Applicants must hold:

  •        English and Maths qualifications at Level 2 (or equivalent).
  •        HLTA status, a relevant NVQ Level 4 qualification, or a Foundation Degree.
