The Little Chute High School is seeking a positive, energetic, and creative special education teacher to fill a full time vacancy starting during the 2026-27 school year. This individual will be expected to provide special education services to students with diverse disabilities in co-taught settings in various regular/special education classrooms.
The candidate will have knowledge of current educational methodology and practices related to the provision of specially designed instruction for special education students. The candidate will have a strong knowledge of appropriate assessment techniques and IEP development. The candidate will be expected to have an understanding of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and will be an effective collaborator with the English department, the special education team, and the school community. The use of education technology to enhance student learning is an expectation.
The candidate is expected to be an active member of the school community and create a supportive classroom community. A Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution and successful completion of student teaching is required as well as, proper licensure from Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
Pre-employment screenings (criminal background check and physical) are required by Wis. Stats. §118.25 for all school employees.
