The Cedar Grove - Belgium School District is searching for a positive, teacher leader who focuses on students' strengths and believes in their ability to grow and achieve. Applicants should possess a high level of knowledge and experience providing a continuum of services and working with high school students with various learning styles and disabilities. The qualified candidate is an instructor who can incorporate positive behavior supports, differentiated instruction, inclusive practices, solid reading instruction and the ability to adapt, collaborate, and provide instructional strategies to other staff who work with students. Experience in Functional Behavioral Assessments, development of Behavioral Intervention Plans, social skill instruction and sensory regulation is ideal.

The successful candidate must have good organizational skills, ability to work successfully and effectively with colleagues, parents, and administrators. Responsibilities will include writing compliant IEPs and facilitating collaborative meetings.

  1. Current or Eligible for Wisconsin DPI certification as a special education teacher at the high school level is required.

  2. Availability for a full-time teaching position beginning the 2026-2027 school year.

  3. Knowledge, experience, and success providing specially designed instruction to students with various learning styles and disabilities.
