Position:High School Choral Director/High School Classroom Music Specialist
Location:Milford High School
Salary:Per Teachers' Contract
To Start:August 24, 2026 (plus two mentor days prior to start date on 8/18-8/19)
Qualifications:Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education Teacher License -Certified Music as well as: Knowledge of Choral Repertoire, classical and contemporary Choral Conducting proficiency Must be willing and able to work in a team atmosphere Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Able to work with a diverse staff and student population Expertise working with students with disabilities, English learners (ELs), and students with limited and/or interrupted education (SLIFE)
Responsibilities: Daily instruction of HS Choir All concerts and performances as scheduled Daily instruction of High School classroom music courses Management of classroom and the care of equipment and material contained therein Supervision of students placed in their charge Maintenance of records directly related to classroom instruction Communicate regularly with colleagues Collaborate with other staff members daily Other duties as assigned by Department, Building and District Administration
