The mission of the Glasgow Independent School System is By providing superior educational opportunities Glasgow Independent Schools in service to and in partnership with families and the community of Glasgow will produce graduates who are responsible citizens prepared to excel in a dynamic global society. Our school system is small comprised of approximately 2100 students which allows teachers and staff members to form close relationships with students and address individual student needs effectively. Our high school is one of six Model Schools in the country for its academic achievements and passion for student success. In addition our high school ranks among the top 10 of all Kentucky high schools on national college entrance exams. This is achieved by an ongoing mission centered on customization communication and presentation. This allows us to maximize each childs full potential. Glasgow Independent School System is well known for its tradition of excellence and strives to implant this aspiration in all its students.
