Position: High School Biology / Non-Regents Chemistry Teacher

Moore Catholic High School is seeking a dedicated and engaging educator to teach Biology and Non-Regents Chemistry at the high school level. The ideal candidate will foster a dynamic, student-centered classroom environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong foundation in the sciences.

Responsibilities:

Teach Biology and Non-Regents Chemistry courses

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards

Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback

Collaborate with faculty to support student growth and school initiatives

Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field (Master's preferred)

NYS teaching certification (or working toward certification)

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Commitment to the mission of Catholic education

Compensation based on education and experience, preference given to candidates with advanced degrees. $55,000-65,000.
