High School Auxiliary Assistants

JOB DESCRIPTION: Auxiliary Assistant Part time

Qualifications:

• Current Alabama Teacher's Certification (preferred) or classified dependent upon qualifications of the person holding the position
• Previous Experience in auxiliary leadership role as a participant and/or coach (preferred) but not required
• Must have or be willing to obtain CDL

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Works with the band director instructor to organize and carry out a practice schedule. Supervises all assigned activities and performances.
• Develop routines for halftime shows, school events, and public service appearances.
• Encourages student involvement in program activities. Helps parents and students understand program objectives.
• Helps with team tryouts. Maintains the integrity of the selection process.
• Evaluate individual and team performance. Develops and refines team routines.
• Provides technical expertise in the coaching of team members.
