High School Athletic Dept. Maintenance/Custodial Worker

Job Summary:

BHS is looking for a full-time employee who will serve in various roles to support our maintenance, custodial and athletic departments. This position will work up to 40 hours with flexible scheduling. There may be opportunities for overtime, depending on the needs. Typically, this position will work an 8-hour shift anywhere between 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. to serve the athletic department and maintenance/custodial department. Some of the core responsibilities will be:

• Serve as maintenance/custodial point-of-contact for extracurricular events.
• This position will cover maintenance/custodial duties for certain extracurricular events in the evenings and on the weekends.
• Assist with general outdoor maintenance/custodial and field/turf grass management and preparation.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or the equivalent.

Experience: Facility and field maintenance experience preferred. Candidates who have experience working with athletics and/or event maintenance and management are encouraged to apply.
