MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS |
Minimum certification of Master's Level in administration and Supervision. |

To relieve the principal of such impediment as to prevent him/her from fulfilling his/her chief responsibility of promoting the educational well-being of each student in the school. |
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES |
*Assists the principal in the overall administration of the school. *Serves as principal in the absence of the regular principal if requested. *Assists in supervision of athletic and non-athletic extracurricular activities. *Serves as School Improvement Coordinator and works with department heads and faculty members for school improvement. *Assists in requisitioning supplies, textbooks, and equipment, conducting inventories, maintaining records, and checking on receipts for such material. *Cooperates in the conducting of safety inspections and safety drill practices activities. *Assumes responsibility for coordinating custodial, cafeteria, and other support services. *Coordinates reporting and monitoring of student attendance, and works with the attendance supervisor to investigate follow-up actions. *Assists in maintaining discipline throughout the student body, and deals with special cases as necessary. *Serves with parents, faculty, and student groups as requested in advancing educational and related activities and objectives. *Performing such record-keeping functions as the principal directs. *Works with the administrative staff to ensure the successful implementation of all athletic and non-athletic events. *Assist in coordinating school maintenance programs as it relates to potential safety hazards. *Develops and implements pro-active discipline approaches by monitoring lunchroom break areas, hallways, and exterior perimeters of the school facility. *Assists the principal in maintaining a clear facility by planning and implementing effective school custodial services. |
