High School Assistant Principal (Grades 9-12)

Pickerington Local School District seeks qualified applicants for an Assistant High School Principal (grades 9-12).

Job Goal:

• To provide support to the instructional process with specific responsibility for directing assigned programs and services.
• To provide information and serve as a resource to others.
• Supervise assigned staff, coordinate school activities and addressing issues, situations and/or problems that occur on campus or with enrolled students.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio certificate/license for secondary principal including grades 9-12
• Master''s degree, with a major in secondary administration, curriculum, and supervision preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years successful classroom teaching experience (at least 18 months in the secondary level under a standard secondary teacher''s certificate)
• Successful demonstration and/or knowledge of the Ohio Standards for Principals preferred
• OTES Credentialed Evaluator
• Ability to interpret/analyze data to determine student success
• Work collaboratively with building principal and other district/building departments
• And/or any additional qualifications, training or other credentials, as determined by the Board of Education.

Salary:

Commensurate with experience (220 Day Contract)
