The ideal candidate will assist in the development and execution of the football program, helping players improve their skills, fitness, and game knowledge while ensuring they are contributing to a positive and supportive team culture. Responsibilities: Assist the Head Coach in planning and implementing practices, game strategies, and drills. Provide coaching and mentoring to student-athletes to help improve individual and team performance. Monitor players progress and provide feedback for skill development. Assist in organizing game day activities, including pre-game preparation and post-game analysis. Help with recruitment and development of players at various skill levels. Ensure the health and safety of all players by adhering to safety guidelines and injury protocols. Collaborate with coaching staff, athletic directors, and other school personnel to enhance the overall athletic program. Support players academic and personal growth in addition to athletic development. Zone 2 Grades 9-12 Category: Coaching Additional Information Qualifications: Previous experience coaching football at the high school or collegiate level preferred. Strong knowledge of football fundamentals, strategies, and rules. Ability to communicate effectively with players, parents, and school staff. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field. CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or willing to obtain). Must pass a background check and adhere to all school district policies.
