Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced, high level swiss CNC machine lead/operator.
The ideal candidate has strong **scheduling skills, ordering experience, strong communication skills, strong computer skills, experience in working in a machine shop, and program and set up **experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Programming and set up
Strong GD&T
Strong computer skills
Use of CMM's and Vision Systems
Optimizing and Process improvements
Training of staff
Lead floor operations in a manufacturing environment
Manage raw material inventory and ensure machinery is fully operational
Conduct inspections and promote a safe work environment
Foster a positive, safe, and high-performance work environment
Required Skills & Qualifications
Leadership & Team Management
- Proven ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and drive performance
Problem-Solving
- Ability to quickly resolve production issues, equipment failures, and staffing challenges
Communication Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with leadership teams and upper management
Technical Proficiency
- **Knowledge of **production machinery and manufacturing processes -- CNC Swiss Machines
- Experience with production ERP systems
