We are seeking reliable, compassionate, professional, and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) to join our team in STATEN ISLAND, NY 10301. As a HHA, you will assist with on-to-one, companion care, and clinic visits. This position offers flexible scheduling; however, we are prioritizing candidates who can commit to a consistent weekly schedule.
Per Diem Openings: 7AM-3PM or 8AM-4PM (Day)
The hourly rate is $20/hr. and the overtime & holiday rate is $30/hr.
Our pay period is Sunday to Saturday and pay is weekly (every Thursday via direct deposit)

Responsibilities
Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, dressing, and assistance with mobility.
Monitor clients' health status and report any changes to the supervising nurse.
Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping tasks.
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and caring environment.
Adhere to care plans and protocols as required to ensure quality care is delivered.
Maintain documentation of client care and progress according to agency standards.
Comply with safety and infection control procedures while providing care.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Home Health Aide training program is preferred.
HHA certification is a plus
Previous experience in home healthcare or similar roles is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care.
Ability to work independently and with a flexible schedule.
Basic knowledge of personal care procedures and safety standards.
