The Herbicide Applicator Technician is responsible for vegetation management, including spraying, cutting, trimming, and weed removal for various clients.
Work involves operating spray trucks, ATVs, backpack sprayers, and hoses.
Key duties include inspecting and maintaining equipment, calibrating spray systems, identifying vegetation, and applying herbicides safely following safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications include being 21+, holding a valid driver’s license with a clean record, passing background and drug screens, and possessing a Pesticide Applicator License in Category 6.
Requires 2+ years outdoor work, herbicide application experience, and the ability to work 50-60 hours/week during peak season.
