What You’ll Need:
- Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology
- Recent patient-facing experience in a clinical setting
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage low-volume, solo provider practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably Meditech
- Ability to support a team with APPs and collaborate effectively
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in a primarily outpatient setting
- Knowledge of hematology and oncology subspecialties
- Prior experience working in multidisciplinary teams
- Bilingual skills or additional language proficiency
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in hematology and oncology
- Current and unrestricted medical license in the state
Other Requirements:
- Ability to start as soon as possible
- Willingness to work 3-5 days per week, typically 8-hour daytime shifts
- Commitment to scheduled coverage of approximately 3 days per week
- Compliance with all relevant licensure, certification, and credentialing processes (approx. 60 days)
