Hematology/Oncology Physician

Join our dedicated team as a Hematology/Oncology Physician and make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients within a vibrant rural community setting. This ongoing full-time opportunity starts on June 30, 2026, offering a rewarding environment where you will provide comprehensive care to adult patients with solid tumors and benign or malignant hematology conditions. You will play a vital role in a multidisciplinary team supporting community infusion services, tumor board participation, and coordinated radiation oncology care, all within a state-of-the-art EPIC EMR system.

Required Skills:
  • Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Hematology and Oncology
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in hematology and oncology
  • Valid DEA license
  • Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered communication
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with rural healthcare environments
  • Previous participation in tumor boards and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
  • Additional certifications in advanced procedures are a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO)
  • US medical license or eligibility for licensing in the state
  • At least 1 year of post-residency or fellowship experience in hematology/oncology

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to obtain state medical licensure; licensure assistance available
  • Must be able to perform or coordinate lumbar punctures, bone marrow biopsies, or port access (not required)
  • Participation in scheduled call rotations including weekends (24-hour shifts) and nights
  • Commitment to ongoing patient care and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
