Clinical duties will encompass general oncology and hematology benign and malignant disease and include inpatient consult service and outpatient clinics at University of Vermont Health Network Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital CVPH in Plattsburgh New York as well as at affiliated clinics in Elizabethtown and Malone NY. Weekday and weekend call on a rotation with other physicians. There will be ample opportunities to interact with the University of Vermont Cancer Center for patient care and participation in clinical trials. In addition it is anticipated the faculty member will practice two days per month at the UVM Cancer Center outpatient clinic in Burlington Vermont with an opportunity to focus on academic subspecialty hematologyoncology.Applicants must be Board Eligible or Certified in Hematology andor Medical Oncology within the first two years of appointment demonstrate interest in teaching and service and be eligible for licensure in the States of Vermont and New York.Plattsburgh and Burlington are vibrant communities located on the western and eastern shores of Lake Champlain between the Adirondacks and Green Mountains.
