About the Clinician‘s WorkdayThe hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care managing 10-12 patients daily Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with 1:4 call rotation coverage. Clinical responsibilities include 2 days of clinic visits, 2 days covering infusion services, and 1 day of inpatient care per week, treating 50% hematology and 50% oncology cases. The clinician will maintain documentation through Epic EMR system and coordinate care within the cancer center environment. Board certification in Medical Oncology and active New York licensure are mandatory requirements for this assignment.
