About the Clinician‘s WorkdayThe hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care managing 15-20 patients daily in a primarily clinic-based setting with occasional hospital rounding responsibilities. Clinical duties include conducting thorough patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans for hematologic and oncologic conditions, and coordinating ongoing care with a multidisciplinary team of 5 top oncologists and 4 nurse practitioners. The position requires board certification in Hematology/Oncology with minimal call coverage expectations, working 40 hours per week with hospital privileges at Beacon, St. Joseph, and Unity Physician hospitals. The clinician will utilize Mosaiq EMR for documentation and treatment planning while collaborating with experienced nursing staff, administrative support, and full phone triage team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
