The position involves managing 15-23 new consultations daily while coordinating ongoing care with multidisciplinary teams throughout Monday through Friday coverage from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Weekend call coverage requires 24-hour availability for urgent consultations and patient management, ensuring continuous quality care delivery. Board certification in Hematology/Oncology and prescriptive authority are mandatory requirements for comprehensive patient management and treatment coordination.
