About the Clinician's WorkdayThe hematologist/oncologist will provide inpatient and clinic hematology and oncology coverage during day shifts with call responsibilities required. The clinical case mix is approximately 70% oncology and 30% hematology, with distribution of 95% clinic and 5% hospital, serving an exclusively adult patient population. Clinicians will manage an average of 2-3 new consults and must maintain thorough documentation through the facility's electronic medical record system for all patient encounters and treatment planning activities. Board certification in Medical Oncology is required for this assignment.
