Overview:

The Helpdesk Tier 1 provides desktop support for the Department of the Navy Office of Administration (DON OA) – Information Technology Division (ITD).

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive desktop support services while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, particularly for high-ranking officials.
• Use the DUSN (M) IT Ticket system to service customers. SECNAV assets (PC & laptops) are traditionally provided by NMCI.
• Provide immediate, onsite support and training requests for Executives and VIPs
• Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of non-NMCI assets including priority, upgrades, refresh plans and warranty services.
• Desktop support includes all peripherals such as mobile devices, laptops, CPUs, printers, digital senders, facsimile machines and near line storage devices.

Qualifications:

Required:

· Associates Degree with 3-5 years helpdesk support experience.
· Knowledge of common software applications, such as web browsing (i.e. Microsoft Edge), email (i.e., Microsoft Outlook), word processing (i.e., Microsoft Word), spreadsheets (i.e., Microsoft Excel), presentations (i.e., Microsoft PowerPoint), databases (i.e., Microsoft Access), photo editing tools, desktop publishing software, and scanning tools.
· Secret Clearance
