This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door and grow within Information Services. The Help Desk Technology Technician provides professional and technical expertise in the area of desktop computer support for county staff.
What You’ll Do
- Receive and process customer service requests
- Perform system and network password administration
- Manage Microsoft Active Directory user accounts
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
- – Microsoft Office Suite
- – Microsoft Operating Systems
- – Outlook
- – VoIP phones
- – County-owned printers
- – PC hardware and software
- Support software needs, including device builds using Windows deployment technologies
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues for PCs, printers/scanners, signature pads, laptops, televisions, smartboards, tablets, and other peripherals
- Maintain PC inventory and assist with county PC fleet management
What You’ll Bring
(Minimum Qualifications)
- Associate’s degree in computer science or closely related field and at least one year of troubleshooting experience working with: Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Operating Systems, Outlook, SharePoint, OR
- Three years of troubleshooting experience working with: Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Operating Systems, Outlook, SharePoint
