This position is for a Helicopter Flight Instructor/Evaluator (Title 32) in the Utah Army National Guard at West Jordan UT.
Responsibilities include serving as a pilot-in-command, trainer, and evaluator on various helicopters (AH-64, CH-47, UH-60, LUH-72).
Duties involve mission planning, preflight inspections, flight training, emergency procedures, and conducting standardization and instrument evaluations.
The role requires operating aircraft in support of military operations, emergency evacuations, fire suppression, and civil support missions.
Incumbents must maintain flight proficiency, safety standards, and necessary certifications, including a current flight physical and FAA qualifications.
Requirements include military membership, appropriate rank (Warrant Officer), medical and security clearances, and experience in military or civilian aviation.
Education must include high school diploma or GED, with FAA or military aviation certifications.
Additional duties may involve safety oversight, mission survivability, and training others.
