The UAB Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology and the Institute for Cancer Outcomes and Survivorship are seeking a physician scientist with research expertise in Outcomes and Survivorship. This faculty position offers the opportunity to combine clinical practice with innovative research that improves outcomes in children and young adults diagnosed with cancer.

About ICOS

Founded in 2015, the Institute for Cancer Outcomes and Survivorship (ICOS) at UAB is dedicated to reducing the burden of cancer and its long\u2011term effects. Through interdisciplinary research, health promotion, and education, ICOS envisions a future where cancer survivors live long, healthy lives. Candidates with strong research alignment may also be considered for leadership opportunities within the Institute.

  • MD, DO, or MD/PhD
  • Board certified/eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
