Heavy Picker / Forklift

Job Description: Heavy PIcker- forklift driver

Pulls and packs parts from various stock locations for various customers daily

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reads "picks " to determine how many parts are being shipped and which bin they are located
• Go to bin location to verify part to diagram on blueprint
• Pull parts from bin and place in proper size box or place on cardboard

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully and individual must be able to perform each duty listed above. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as picks, safety rules, diagrams and part numbers.

Mathematical Skills:
Individual must be able to calculate using addition and subtraction and count to fifty (Basic Math)

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the duties listed above. While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to stand while working, reach with hands and arms, grasp with hands, talk and hear. The employee is required to bend/twist to move parts in working area. Ability to lift/move 10 to 25lbs regularly, lift/move up to 50lbs occassionally required.
