Clark and Son's Excavating Inc, is looking to hire a skilled, hands-on Industrial Machinery Mechanic with at least 12 months experience to join our team! We operate and maintain a wide variety of industrial machinery and construction equipment. We take pride in our safety-conscious environment and high-quality production. The Industrial Machinery Mechanic will inspect, troubleshoot, rebuild, and repair heavy machinery used in construction processes. This position requires someone comfortable with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, ensuring maximum uptime for our equipment.
Job duties include:
Diagnosing: Use diagnostic software to identify mechanical problems
Repairing: Fix or replace parts and components, such as engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems
Maintaining: Perform routine maintenance, such as changing oil and checking fluid levels
Inspecting: Check equipment to determine the extent of repairs needed
Installing: Install special equipment or replacement parts
Overhauling: Test and overhaul major components, such as engines and hydraulic systems
Traveling: Travel to worksites to repair large equipment
Advising: Provide advice on parts and equipment selection
Instructing: Instruct operators on equipment operation and servicing
Keeping records: Keep records and make reports
