What You'll Do
This role provides the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of heavy haul and specialized transportation operations while working alongside experienced professionals. In this role, you will:
Participate in a structured training program designed to prepare you for advancement within Barnhart
Assist with heavy haul and specialized transportation projects
Travel to job sites across the country and gain exposure to a variety of industries and project types
Learn to safely operate and work around specialized transportation equipment
Support project teams with equipment preparation, inspections, and job-site activities
Develop technical knowledge related to heavy haul transportation, load handling, and project execution
Work alongside experienced team members on industry-leading construction and infrastructure projects
Adhere to Barnhart's safety standards and operational procedures
Build the skills necessary for long-term career growth within the organization

What You Bring
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability and willingness to travel extensively
Desire to learn and grow in a technically driven environment
Ability to work safely as part of a team
Must pass a drug test, fit-for-duty evaluation, and background check
Preferred:
Mechanical aptitude and interest in heavy equipment
Construction, industrial, transportation, or trade-related experience
CDL or willingness to obtain one
Demonstrated commitment to learning and professional development
Ability to work in outdoor and physically demanding environments
