About the opportunity
Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Service Technicians for local roles across East Texas. You’ll keep excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and similar machinery running safely and efficiently—so crews can deliver on time and on budget.
A day in the life
You start by reviewing work orders, prioritizing a preventative service on a loader before moving to a diagnostics call on an excavator with a sluggish boom. You trace the issue to a hydraulic leak, reference the schematic to confirm parts, and complete the repair. Midday, you perform a safety inspection on a bulldozer, logging findings and ensuring compliance. Throughout the day you coordinate with teammates, document your work and parts used, and finish by tidying your bay—ready for whatever roll-in comes tomorrow.

- Perform scheduled maintenance and corrective repairs on heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults; isolate issues within hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems; and complete quality repairs.

- Partner with team members to boost reliability and reduce downtime.
- Stay current with advances in heavy equipment technology and best practices.
