What You Will Do

As a Heavy Equipment Paint Technician, you'll manage every stage of the refinishing process to produce a professional, high-quality finish.

Your responsibilities include:

• Prepare heavy equipment, trailers, service trucks, and industrial components for painting through washing, blasting, sanding, and masking.
• Apply primers, paint, and protective coatings using professional refinishing techniques.
• Install decals and graphics to complete equipment restoration.
• Perform surface preparation to ensure long-lasting, high-quality finishes.
• Complete light welding as needed to support repairs and refinishing.
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets NMC Cat's quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals who take pride in producing quality work and have an eye for detail.

Successful candidates may have experience with:

• Industrial or automotive painting
• Heavy equipment refinishing
• Sandblasting and surface preparation
• Spray painting and coating application
• Body repair or collision repair
• Welding experience (preferred but not required)

Experience with heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, commercial trucks, industrial machinery, or automotive painting is highly valued.
