Job Description
Jim Hagen Concrete is looking to hire a motivated hands-on leader who can operate equipment while managing crews and overseeing field production.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate on-site construction and excavation activities
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, skid steers, tractors, etc.
- Valid CDL license
Perform and oversee work involving:
- Concrete foundations & flatwork
- Drainage systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, grades, and specs
- Layout and execute work according to plans and elevations
- Supervise and direct field crew to maintain production and quality
- Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors
- Ensure job site safety and compliance with OSHA standards
- Maintain equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical functions, and have knowledge of safe navigation of machinery.
