Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Help maintain and repair construction equipment trucks mixer trucks, including preventative maintenance work hydraulic repair, brake work, electrical repairs, and welding
May perform service repairs in the field May have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of units from small fleet vehicles, class 8 trucks, trailers mixer trucks, construction equipment, and crushing equipment
Complete all paperwork that may be necessary
Must have own journeyman hand tools but Knife River does provide large tools and has a replacement policy
Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors observed
Other duties assigned as needed
Hours: 200PM - 1000PM, Monday to Friday
Wage Range: $26.91-$47.11 Wage differential 3 included for swing shift
Minimum Qualifications:
Previous mechanical experience on construction equipment class 8 trucks and mixer trucks Strong troubleshooting skills Welding and fabrication experience desirable Clean driving record Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check physical, functional, and drug screen Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members
