The City of Greensboro is looking for a skilled Equipment Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a fleet of heavy trucks and truck-mounted equipment. Compensation and Benefits:
Estimated Hiring Salary Range: $45,017.00. - $63,379.00 Full Salary Range: $45,017.00 - $86,195.00 Annually
*** This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus.***

About the Role:As an Equipment Diesel Technician, you will:
- Diagnose and perform minor and major repairs on heavy trucks and equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
- Follow strict safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Work in varying conditions, including dust, grease, noise, heat, cold, and inclement weather.
What We're Looking for:- Four years of journey-level experience in heavy truck and equipment repair.
- Current possession of or ability to obtain within six months:
- Class A CDL License with Tanker Endorsement
- NC Emission/Safety Inspection License
- Air Conditioning Recovery Certification
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including walking, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must have own tools.
