  • Read and apply diagrams, drawings, and OEM manuals; complete inspections across all bus models per written procedures.
  • Electrical: troubleshoot circuits; adjust/replace regulators and relays; repair single‑purpose wiring; solder as needed.
  • Chassis and fluid power: adjust/replace hoses, brake parts, air/hydraulic components; change mounted tires.
  • Front‑end: repair spindle kingpins/bushings; replace steering boxes and related components.
  • Climate: adjust, replace, and repair A/C components short of teardown/rebuild.
  • Body/component swaps: radiators, transmissions, surge tanks, engines, A/C evaporators, passenger doors (door repairs handled in the main shop).
  • Temporary patches without disassembly; remove sharp edges for safety.
  • Agency supplies tools for minor work; paint limited to touch‑ups on minor body work, steering wheels, step wells, wheels, bumpers, and reflectors.
  • Glass: replace side/rear glass or framed units (no frame repairs or curved glass work).
  • Engine adjustments limited to attached units: oil pans, diesel injectors, valve set.
  • Welding limited to component changes and interim safety/body‑tear security; only trained staff assigned.
  • Make road calls or perform exchanges when the designated crew is unavailable.
  • Document inspections/defects and communicate repair details clearly.

What you bring

  • HS diploma or GED (required); technical degree preferred
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Automotive or Diesel Technology
  • Proven skill in diagnostics, precision work, and reading technical documentation
