Job Title: Heavy Civil Estimator
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Heavy Civil Estimator to join our team in Denver with pay starting at 140K. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating for heavy civil construction projects and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans and specifications to determine the overall cost estimates
- Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bids
- Analyze project requirements and provide value engineering options to optimize project costs
- Track and monitor project costs throughout the construction process
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven experience as a Heavy Civil Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and industry standards
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
