Job Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma.
Commercial Driver's License Required (CDL).
Work will require travel throughout the U.S.
Job Tasks:
- Operate heavy trucks and tractor-trailers to transport general freight to designated locations.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety, compliance, and proper functioning.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo security.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, fuel usage, and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Follow federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety procedures.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules, delays, or mechanical issues.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical problems.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to customers.
