Our Thermal & Specialty Solutions organization is seeking a Heat Transfer Fluids Application Scientist to advance next-generation, low-GWP liquid cooling across immersion and direct-to-chip applications.

How youll contribute

  • Advance R&D programs in two-phase thermal management for data centers and related markets.
  • Architect, execute, and oversee multiple simultaneous experiments in lab and field environments.
  • Interpret data, quantify performance, and present clear recommendations to technical leadership.
  • Work seamlessly with cross-functional colleagues, customers, and external partners.
  • Deepen expertise in fluorochemical science and state-of-the-art cooling technologies.

What youll need to succeed

  • MS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry plus 2+ years in thermal management, refrigeration, or HVAC; OR
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry plus 5+ years of relevant industry experience in thermal management, refrigeration, or HVAC.
  • Strong fundamentals in refrigeration, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
  • Ability to spend >75% of time in the lab while juggling multiple time-sensitive experiments.
  • Excellent communication, initiative, independence, and a track record of safe work practices.

Preferred

  • Experience with refrigerants or liquid-cooling systems, especially two-phase.
