The Healthcare Sales Specialist (Outreach Specialist) plays a vital role in driving enrollment success by building meaningful relationships within the community and connecting vulnerable seniors to life-changing PACE services.
Unlike traditional sales roles, this position focuses on mission-driven outreach, relationship-building, and community engagement — not hard-selling products. You will serve as a trusted resource, guiding prospective participants and caregivers through the enrollment journey while fostering long-term partnerships with community organizations.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about healthcare access, senior care advocacy, and community impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and initiate outreach and engagement activities within the community.
  • Identify collaboration opportunities with local organizations to generate qualified leads and drive enrollments.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with:
    • Senior centers
    • Assisted living facilities
    • Food banks
    • Churches
    • Community-based organizations
  • Develop and execute monthly marketing plans in partnership with the MOE Director to consistently meet enrollment goals.
  • Provide education and information about PACE services to referral sources and community stakeholders.
  • Track outreach activities and referral progress using CRM systems (Salesforce, Athena, etc.).
  • Represent the organization at community events, health fairs, and networking opportunities.
Required Qualifications
  • Fluency in Spanish (Required).
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales and marketing experience.
  • At least 1 year of healthcare or senior care experience preferred.
  • Outside sales experience preferred.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, Athena, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to obtain DHCS training certification and pass the marketing representative exam within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Experience within the local service area preferred.
  • Strong understanding of PACE programs or senior healthcare services.
  • Established local community connections within senior or healthcare networks.
