Job Title: Healthcare Quality Improvement Manager
Location: Bethlehem, PA (Remote with travel to client sites in Pennsylvania)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $ 65- $ 71 on W2/hr

Job Description
A healthcare improvement initiative led by a Principal Investigator is seeking a mid-level Healthcare Improvement Advisor. The role focuses on applying quality management methods and tools to improve healthcare delivery and managing collaborative improvement activities across multiple facilities.
This position is remote; however, travel to client sites within Pennsylvania is required. Candidates from the East Coast are preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define improvement aims and objectives for healthcare initiatives
  • Develop and track improvement indicators and performance measures
  • Form and support multidisciplinary improvement teams
  • Coach, manage, and troubleshoot teams on group processes and collaboration
  • Organize and manage multiple teams in collaborative improvement initiatives
  • Analyze healthcare delivery processes using process flowcharts
  • Develop annotated time-series charts for individual facilities
  • Aggregate and analyze data across multiple facilities into system-level time-series charts
  • Design, test, and implement process improvements using the Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycle
  • Monitor and evaluate results of implemented changes and guide decision-making
  • Conduct iterative testing of process improvements to achieve desired outcomes
  • Facilitate end-of-project “Harvest Meetings”
  • Compile improvement outcomes into a formal “Change Package”
  • Provide in-person technical assistance during site visits in Pennsylvania
  • Conduct virtual learning sessions and coordinate team meetings

Required Skills & Competencies
  • Experience in healthcare quality improvement or healthcare operations
  • Strong knowledge of quality management tools and methodologies
  • Experience managing collaborative or multi-site improvement projects
  • Proficiency in:
    • Process mapping and flowcharting
    • Statistical process control / time-series charting (Shewhart methods)
    • Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) methodology
  • Strong coaching and facilitation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Willingness to travel within Pennsylvania

Work Arrangement
  • Remote role with mandatory travel to client sites in Pennsylvania
  • Preference for candidates based on the East Coast
