A highly respected national law firm is seeking a Healthcare M&A Associate Attorney to join its Dallas office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing healthcare organizations, medical and dental services organizations, private equity sponsors, and other healthcare industry participants in sophisticated transactional matters.
• 4–6 years of mergers & acquisitions, private equity, or corporate transactional experience gained at a law firm
• Significant experience handling acquisition transactions, including drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and related ancillary documents
• Strong experience with mergers & acquisitions and private equity transactions
• Experience representing healthcare providers, management services organizations, private equity sponsors, and other healthcare industry participants is preferred
• Experience with general corporate representation, including entity formation, capitalization, corporate governance matters, operating agreements, and commercial relationships
• Familiarity with financing transactions is preferred
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, technology agreements, master services agreements, vendor agreements, and other commercial contracts, is a plus
• Strong analytical, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues at all levels
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted
